Pest Control in EgyptA 3-year warranty and odorless pesticides
Every pest in the unit, cleared on the same visit at no extra charge. The products are odorless and nobody has to leave home, during the visit or after it. A technician is on site within 90 minutes across Greater Cairo, and you see a written quote before any work starts.
A pest control company in Egyptian homes for30 years
We're an Egyptian company that started in 1996 and covers every governorate in Egypt. We work 24 hours a day, seven days a week including Friday, and bed bugs are the call we get more than any other.
We started because of a problem this market never fixed: a cheap crew sprays, leaves, and the infestation is back within a few weeks. Our work runs the other way. Nothing gets sprayed before an inspection. Every species gets its own written protocol, and the 3-year warranty comes dated on a signed and stamped certificate.
We don't do the surface spray-and-go. The technician identifies the species first, where it's coming from and how far it has gone, and then every pest we found in the unit is treated on that one visit at no extra charge: bed bugs along with the cockroaches, the ants or the fleas that came with them. If the problem needs a vet working in parallel, or the source turns out to be the apartment next door, you hear that at the start.

The crew that shows up
Technicians trained on every kind of infestation. They arrive in uniform with their own equipment, and they tell you what they're about to do before they do it.
Inspection before any money
We work out what the species is, where it came from and how far the infestation has spread. Then a written quote listing the product, the pests it covers, and a dated 3-year warranty.
The equipment we bring
Gel bait, sprays and tamper-resistant stations. Every product is registered with the Ministry of Health and odorless, and it arrives in the van before the inspection starts.
The promise we can put in writing
An inspection on site, a quote before anything is done, every pest present treated on the same visit, and a dated 3-year written warranty. If it comes back inside those three years, we come back at our own cost.
Every pest eliminated, with no odor and no need to leave home
There is no single spray for everything. Cockroaches are treated with gel bait, ants with a slow-acting bait, bed bugs with steam and a targeted residual spray, mosquitoes by treating the water they breed in.

More about bed bugsClose the details
The question everybody asks: what about the eggs? A bed bug egg has a shell that a surface spray does not get through. That is why our visit is not a quick pass over the mattress and out the door. We run steam along the mattress seam and the upholstery, and the heat kills the egg where it sits. A residual insecticide then goes onto the cracks and the runs the bugs use. The nymphs that hatch over the next 7 to 10 days have to move to find a meal, and the moment they cross the residual they die before they reach breeding age.
If there are cockroaches, ants or fleas in the unit alongside the bed bugs, they are treated in the same visit under the same agreement. The technician arrives with the gel bait, the insecticide and the steamer already in the van, so whatever shows up during the inspection is treated while he is standing there. Nothing gets pushed to another appointment because it is a different species.
We will also tell you where the limit is. If the mattress itself is finished and the seam has broken down from the inside, we will tell you to replace it. No treatment brings back a mattress that is gone. The pesticides we use are registered with the Egyptian Ministry of Health and odorless, so nobody has to leave the flat during the visit or after it.
One thing worth saying plainly: bed bugs have nothing to do with how clean your home is. That is the single biggest misconception about them. They travel in luggage from hotels, in secondhand mattresses and sofas, and between apartments through electrical conduit. Spotless homes get infested. Neglected ones sometimes do not. It is a question of transport, not hygiene.
From the field
Bed bugs hide in the mattress seam itself, not underneath it. If you looked under the mattress, found nothing and concluded the place is clean, you looked in the wrong place. Check the stitched piping along the sides of the mattress, behind the wooden headboard, and in the screw holes of the sofa frame.
The rest of the signs
Black dots the size of a ballpoint tip along the mattress seam, which is bed bug droppings
Small translucent shells in the corners of the bed, the skins the nymphs shed as they molt
A heavy, oddly sweet smell in the room once the infestation is large
Treatment steps
1Full inspection of mattresses, upholstered furniture, cracks and the space behind outlets
2Steam on the mattress seam and on the fabrics that cannot be sprayed
3Targeted application of a residual insecticide to cracks and bed bug runs
4Treatment of any other pest found during the inspection, within the same visit
5Final inspection and handover of the dated 3-year written warranty certificate
Duration: One visit · 2 to 3 hours · 3-year written warranty
Woodworm works inside the timber for years before you notice it, and it is treated by injection in a single visit along with any other pest in the unit. Once you can see small holes and fine powder under the furniture, the adults have already emerged and the damage inside is much worse than what shows.
If the powder under the furniture is as fine as flour, it is woodworm. If it has small gritty grains like sand, or looks like dried mud, it is termites. That one difference decides the entire treatment.
Cockroaches are treated with gel bait rather than spray alone, and the whole job is done in one visit. Spraying kills what you can see and pushes the rest into deeper harborage, while the bait travels into the nest and keeps working after we leave.
The German cockroach sits behind the fridge motor, where it is warm and humid. If somebody sprayed your kitchen and skipped that spot, they are back in about two weeks. We pull the fridge out and treat behind the motor. It is the first place we look.
Sealing the entry points matters more than the poison, and both are done in one visit along with any other pest in the unit. Put bait down without closing the entries and you kill what is inside while the next one comes in through the same hole.
A mouse gets through a gap the width of a pencil, a rat through one the width of a coin. If you are looking at an opening and thinking nothing could fit through it, something already has. Their bones flex, and the skull is the widest part of them.
One program covers the whole unit and its surroundings against every species we deal with in Egypt, carried out in a single visit. It suits a new apartment before anyone moves in, and units with more than one pest at the same time.
New apartments in Fifth Settlement and Sheikh Zayed pick up infestations from the neighbors through waste pipes and AC ducting before anyone has moved in. Treating a unit before the furniture arrives costs less and is far less work than treating an infestation later.
Spraying the ants you can see is a mistake. The ant on the countertop is one of the 5% that leave the nest, and the bait we place in a single visit is what reaches the queen and the brood.
If the ants are coming out of one specific point and moving in a steady line, the nest is less than 3 meters from that point. Ants do not hold a fixed line over long distances without a reason.
Mosquitoes breed in standing water, and treating the breeding sites matters more than spraying the air. A broken drain cover or a plant saucer with water sitting in it produces hundreds of mosquitoes a week. The 3-year warranty covers the breeding sources we treat in the unit and around it: if breeding restarts in any of them, we come back at our cost. A mosquito flying in through an open window is not a returning infestation.
The most common source we find in Cairo apartments is the AC condensate line. Water collects in a tray or in a blocked pipe and sits there, which means the mosquitoes are breeding inside the home rather than outside it.
The fleas on the animal are 5% of the problem. The other 95% are eggs and larvae in the carpet and the floor cracks, and those are what we treat in one visit with a compound containing a growth regulator that breaks the cycle.
Fleas bite the feet and ankles specifically, because they jump up from the floor and do not get higher than about 20 centimeters. If the bites are above the knee, it is probably not fleas.
Ticks hide in cracks and joints rather than staying on the animal, and they are treated in one visit along with any other pest in the unit. A single female lays up to 3,000 eggs in a wall crack, which is why treating the place matters more than treating the animal.
The most common place we find ticks in Egyptian homes is the joint between the floor tile and the wall, in whichever room the dog sleeps in. That gap fills up with eggs and nobody ever looks into it.
Any company can tell you it's good. The difference shows up in how it answers one specific question on the phone. Tap a question and read both answers side by side.
If you ask
“Will the smell hang around the house?”
An answer you hear a lot
“Spray, leave the place for two days, then open the windows.”
And where exactly do you take the family for two days?
Techno German's answer
The compounds we work with are odorless, so nobody has to leave the house or empty a cupboard. The bait goes into hidden points and the spray is aimed at cracks, not at open surfaces.
If you ask
“When can you get here?”
An answer you hear a lot
“Tomorrow, God willing. We'll call you and set a time.”
An open-ended appointment, and you end up calling to remind them.
Techno German's answer
Within 90 minutes across Greater Cairo, and we work 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Every pest in the unit is treated on that same visit, so you're not clearing the place out twice or taking a second day off work.
If you ask
“Where is this warranty actually written down?”
An answer you hear a lot
“Of course, sir. We've got a one-year warranty.”
Words on a phone call. Ask the follow-up: written down where?
Techno German's answer
A certificate handed over with the invoice. On it: the date of the visit, every pest that was treated, and 3 years of cover on all of them, signed and stamped. The one year you hear on the phone isn't written down anywhere. If it comes back inside the period, we come back at our own cost.
If you ask
“Where exactly are you going to spray?”
An answer you hear a lot
“We'll spray the whole apartment, top to bottom.”
Blanket spraying kills what's out in the open and drives the rest into hiding.
Techno German's answer
Behind the fridge motor. The seam of the mattress itself, not underneath it. Tile joints, and the points where pipes come through the wall. Spraying at random pushes the insect into deeper harborage, and it comes back harder.
If you ask
“Is it safe around children and cats?”
An answer you hear a lot
“A hundred percent safe, don't worry about it.”
"Don't worry" is not an answer. Ask where exactly it goes.
Techno German's answer
The product goes where a child cannot reach — inside cupboards, behind appliances, into cracks — never on the floor or on the surfaces a child touches. Bait stations lock with a key. And we give you the precautions in writing before the visit, not after.
If you ask
“What if the problem isn't coming from my place at all?”
An answer you hear a lot
“Don't worry about it, sir. We'll spray and it'll all be over.”
Hardly anyone asks this one. If the source sits outside the unit, the money is wasted.
Techno German's answer
We say so. If the source is the neighbors, or the animal needs a vet at the same time, treating your unit alone won't fix it. You hear that at the start, not after you've paid.
Take the questions with you

You don't have to hire us. Ask any company these six questions before you pay, then compare what comes back. A company that answers with dates and numbers is not the same company as one that answers in generalities.
6What if the problem isn't coming from my place at all?
The quote
What will this cost me?
We don't publish a fixed price, and that is deliberate. A technician sees the unit first, and then you get a written quote before you pay anything.
Call and give us the detailsWhich pest, which neighborhood, and roughly how many square meters. The call takes two minutes.
The technician inspects the placeHe identifies the species, the source, and how far it has spread by looking at the unit, not by taking a description over the phone.
A written quoteIt lists the protocol, the pests being treated, and the warranty period. Agree and we start on the same visit. Don't agree, and that is the end of it.
Why no published price?
An apartment with cockroaches in the kitchen is not the same job as an apartment with bed bugs in three bedrooms
Floor area and how heavy the infestation is change how much product goes down and how long the technician stays in the unit
Any number given before we see the place is a guess, and we don't work off guesses
Request a quote
We answer within minutes, and the visit is usually booked for the same day.
Six clear steps, and you pay nothing before the third one. The technician inspects the place first, and the quote is in writing before any work starts.
From the first phone call to the last signed page, every step is documentedexplainedguaranteed.
01The call2 minutes
You tell us the pest, the area you're in and roughly how big the place is. Most of the time we can book you the same day.
02The inspection20 minutes
The technician goes through the place and works out the species, where the infestation started and how bad it is. Nothing commits you at this point.
03The written quoteBefore any work
It lists the protocol, the pests that will be treated, how many visits it takes, and the 3-year warranty. You take it or you don't.
04The treatment1 to 4 hours
We run the protocol for each species we found in the place, all in the same visit. Before we start you'll know whether you need to be out of the unit, and for how many hours.
05Walkthrough and reportBefore we leave
Before the technician leaves, the two of you go over every point that was treated. We write down what we found and which products were used.
06The warranty certificateOn handover
A certificate showing the treatment date and every pest treated, with 3 years of cover that starts the day of the visit. If it comes back in that window, we come back at our own cost.

Family safety
Your family comes first
The work is set up so that children and animals never reach the product at all: bait goes into hidden points inside cupboards and behind appliances, and spray is aimed at cracks and joints rather than open surfaces. The compounds we work with are odorless, so there is no reason to leave the house or empty anything out.
Children
The product goes where a child cannot reach: inside cupboards, behind appliances, into cracks. Nothing is sprayed on the floor or on the surfaces a child touches and plays on.
Pregnancy
If someone in the home is pregnant, she is better off in another room while we work. That is a precaution rather than a warning, and we say it before the visit rather than after.
Cats, dogs and fish
Lift the food and water bowls and cover the aquarium before we arrive. Bait stations lock with a key: a rodent gets in, a cat or a child does not.
A point, not a spray-down
Gel bait goes down in points the size of a pinhead inside cupboards, where it is neither seen nor touched. Spray is aimed at the exits the pest uses, not blanketed across the flat.
Your kitchen and your food
We cover prep surfaces before we start and stay away from open food areas. If you want to wipe down afterward, use soap and water only. Strong disinfectants strip the residual layer and waste the visit.
After we leave
Life carries on from that moment, with no waiting and no going out. The one thing we ask is that you do not wipe the treated spots, because the residual layer is what keeps working after we go.
What we tell you before we walk in
Exactly what will be done, where, and what we need from you beforehand. If there is something particular about your home — a newborn, someone with asthma, a sick animal — say it on the call and we adjust the protocol around it.
Registered compounds
Everything we use is registered with the Egyptian Ministry of Health, in the safety classes cleared for residential work — the same classes written for homes with children and pets in them.
No smell
The compounds we work with are odorless, and nobody needs to leave the house either during the visit or after it. Gel bait has no smell at all.
Our warranty is a piece of paper, not something said on the phone: 3 years, the same term across every service. It carries the treatment date and the pests that were treated, signed and stamped by the company.
What the warranty covers
If the pest comes back inside the three years, we come back and treat it again at no cost to you
Cover starts on the date of the visit, and that date is written on the certificate itself
If the source turns out to be the neighbor's apartment, sealing the entry points inside your unit is covered
The warranty transfers if you rent the unit out. It follows the property, not the person
What it does not cover
Treating the neighbor's apartment itself. We seal the entry points on your side, but their apartment isn't ours to enter
A new infestation shown to have come in after the visit with used furniture or a suitcase. Showing that is on us, not on you
Fleas and ticks where the animal was not treated by a vet in parallel, because the cycle keeps running off the animal
Mosquitoes: cover applies to the breeding sources we treated in and around the unit. One mosquito flying in through an open window is not a returning infestation
A unit treated by another company during the warranty period
We write these exclusions down plainly because they do come up, and you are better off knowing now than finding out later.
We picked the reviews that name a specific detail instead of “thanks, great work.” The detail is the part that tells you something.
“The company I used before you sprayed the top of the mattress, told me it was finished, and the bed bugs were back. I paid twice for nothing. Your technician went through the mattress seam and behind the headboard before he even picked up the sprayer. I asked whether it was safe with kids in the flat and he showed me the registration paperwork and walked me through the precautions before he started. He treated the rest of the apartment the same visit, and the 3-year warranty came dated on the invoice. A year and a half later, not one bite.”
“What stood out was that the technician pulled the fridge out and treated behind it. Everyone before him sprayed the kitchen cabinets and left. I have two young kids, so I asked about safety, and he named the products and showed me the paperwork.”
“New apartment, booked before the furniture went in. They inspected first and found rats were getting in through the AC duct, which I had never once thought to look at. They sealed it and treated the whole unit. Two years now and I have not seen anything.”
“The bait stations that lock with a key mattered more to me than anything else, because I have two cats. The last company left open poison under the sink. That could have ended very badly.”
“They asked me not to wipe the ant trail before they came, which sounded backwards to me. It was not. They followed that trail to the nest, under the balcony tiles. Within a week the ants were gone.”
“I was embarrassed to say the words out loud. I assumed bed bugs meant my apartment was not clean. The first thing you told me on the phone was that they have nothing to do with cleanliness and that they usually arrive in luggage after a trip. That took a weight off before anyone even showed up.”

Common questions
The questions we get on the phone every day
Answered here the same way we answer them on the phone, including the awkward ones.
What is the best pest control company in Egypt?
There is no single right answer, but four questions will tell you most of what you need to know about any company before you hire it. Does the warranty come written and dated, or is it a promise made on the phone? Are the products registered with the Ministry of Health and odorless, or will you have to leave the flat for two days? Do you get a written quote before the work starts? And if the unit has more than one pest in it, is everything treated in the same visit, or is each species billed on its own? Techno German answers all four before you pay anything, and the 3-year warranty is written on the invoice.
How much does pest control cost in Egypt?
We don't publish a fixed price, and that is deliberate. A kitchen with cockroaches and a three-bedroom apartment with bed bugs are not the same job, and the gap between them is wide. A technician inspects the unit in person, and you get a written quote that sets out the protocol and every pest it covers, with the 3-year warranty attached, before you pay anything. That number covers every pest present in the unit, not one species. Call us or send a WhatsApp with the pest and your area.
Why do pest control quotes vary so much between companies?
Quotes in the Egyptian market vary widely, and the spread has less to do with the company than with what the number actually includes. Before you compare two figures, ask three things. Is the warranty written and dated, or promised over the phone? Is the product registered with the Ministry of Health, and is it odorless? Does the price cover every pest in the unit, or is each species billed separately? A quote that can't answer those is cheaper on paper and more expensive by the end of the year.
How do I book a pest control visit?
Call us or send a WhatsApp message with the pest and the address. A rough size for the unit helps, because it tells the technician what to load on the van. We usually schedule the visit for the same day, and within Greater Cairo the team arrives in 90 minutes on average. The technician inspects first, and you get a written quote before any work starts. The job is finished in that one visit: if we find a second pest in the unit, it is treated in the same appointment at no extra charge.
How do I know if I have bed bugs?
Three signs are clear enough to act on: bites arriving in a line or a cluster of 3 to 5, small blood smears on the sheet in the morning, and black dots the size of a ballpoint pen tip along the mattress seam. Those dots are droppings. A mosquito bite comes alone and scattered, which is the easiest way to rule it out. Check the stitched piping running along the sides of the mattress, not the underside. That seam is where they sit.
What does a bed bug bite look like?
A bed bug bite is a raised red welt with a darker point at its center, and it almost never shows up alone. The bites come in a straight line or a tight group because the insect feeds several times as it moves across skin. A mosquito bite is single and scattered, and it is usually gone the next day. Bed bug bites stay itchy for 3 to 7 days. If you cannot tell which one you are looking at, send us a photo on WhatsApp.
Do bed bugs mean my home is dirty?
No, bed bugs have nothing to do with how clean a home is. They don't feed on dirt or food scraps; they feed on blood and nothing else. They arrive with luggage after a trip or a hotel stay, inside used mattresses and secondhand sofas, and from a neighboring unit through electrical conduit and drain lines. Spotless apartments get infested. We see it every week, and it is the misconception we spend the most time correcting.
Do I have to leave my apartment during the treatment?
No. The compounds we work with are odorless, so you can stay in your home during the visit and after it. Gel bait goes into hidden points inside cupboards, and spray is aimed at cracks and the exits the pest uses rather than at open surfaces. The only thing we ask is that you keep clear of the specific spot the technician is working on until he finishes, and that anyone pregnant sits in another room as a precaution.
Is pest control safe for kids and pets?
We use compounds registered with the Egyptian Ministry of Health, in the safety classes cleared for residential use, and they are odorless. The product goes where a child cannot reach: inside cupboards, behind appliances, into cracks, never on the floor or on the surfaces a child touches. There are precautions, and we would rather state them than leave them out. Lift pet food and water bowls off the floor and cover any aquarium before the technician arrives, and if someone in the home is pregnant she is better off in another room while we work. We say all of this before the visit rather than after.
How long does the smell last after spraying?
The compounds we work with are odorless, so nothing lingers in the home after we leave, and nobody needs to be out of the unit either during the visit or after it. Gel bait has no smell at all. The one thing you might smell is the pest itself when an infestation is large: bed bugs carry a heavy, oddly sweet smell and cockroaches an oily one, and both go with the treatment.
Why do you cost more than the cheap offers on Facebook?
The cheap offer is almost always a diluted product sprayed over whatever the technician can see. A month later the insects are back, you pay a second time, and the population is harder to kill because a sublethal dose is exactly how resistance builds. What our number covers: an inspection of the whole unit, pesticides registered with the Ministry of Health and odorless, so nobody leaves the flat, every pest species in the unit treated in that one visit, and a 3-year written warranty with its limits printed beside it. If the pest comes back inside that window, we come back at our own cost. Compare the two over three years, not over one visit.
What exactly does the 3-year warranty cover?
If the pest comes back during the warranty period, we treat again at our own cost and you pay nothing. The warranty is printed on the invoice with a date and the pest named, signed and stamped, and it runs 3 years across every service. Its limits are printed on the same page. We don't treat the neighbor's own apartment, because it isn't ours to enter, but sealing the entry points on your side is covered. A new infestation that came in after the visit with used furniture or a suitcase counts as a new case, and showing that is our job, not yours. Fleas and ticks need the animal treated by a vet at the same time; without that, the result will not hold and the warranty does not apply. And if another company treats the unit during the period, the warranty stops.
Do you work on Fridays and public holidays?
Yes, we work 24 hours a day, seven days a week, Fridays and public holidays included. Most customers want to be home when the technician arrives, which usually means the weekend. That is a normal booking for us, not an exception we make.
Which areas do you cover?
We cover all of Greater Cairo: Fifth Settlement and New Cairo, Maadi and Helwan, Nasr City and Heliopolis, Sheikh Zayed and 6th of October, Zamalek and Downtown, and Giza with Dokki and Mohandessin. Alexandria is covered on scheduled dates. If your area isn't on the list, ask us anyway. We reach other areas depending on the week's schedule.
