Tick Control in Greater Cairo — The Place Matters More Than the Animal
Ticks do not live on the animal full time; they sit in tile joints, wall seams, behind light fixtures and in the area the dog sleeps in, dropping down for a meal and going back into hiding. So we treat the place itself with a residual insecticide plus an insect growth regulator to break the cycle, and the job closes in a single 90-minute visit run in parallel with veterinary treatment for the animal.

- 3-year written warranty, dated

Diagnosis
How to tell that what you have is Ticks
We see these signs in Egyptian apartments every week. If you find one of them, the inspection confirms the pest before any treatment starts.
- Small brown insects attached to the animal's skin, especially around the ears and the neck
- Small brown dots moving on the walls close to the floor
- The animal scratching and shaking its head repeatedly

The detail
What you should know about Ticks
A tick spends most of its life off the host. It sits in tile joints, wall seams, behind light fixtures and in the places the dog sleeps, drops down to feed, and goes straight back into hiding.
Our treatment concentrates on the cracks and the joints with a residual insecticide, plus an insect growth regulator to break the cycle. The eggs hatch in waves, and the residual sitting in the crack meets each wave the moment it moves, while the regulator stops it reaching breeding age.
As with fleas, the animal has to be treated by a vet in parallel. Without that the cycle keeps running, and that part is not ours to do. We say so from the start.
From the field
The most common place we find ticks in Egyptian homes is the joint between the floor tile and the wall, in whichever room the dog sleeps in. That gap fills up with eggs and nobody ever looks into it.

The written warranty
Our warranty is a piece of paper, not something said on the phone: 3 years, the same term across every service. It carries the treatment date and the pests that were treated, signed and stamped by the company.
What the warranty covers
- If the pest comes back inside the three years, we come back and treat it again at no cost to you
- Cover starts on the date of the visit, and that date is written on the certificate itself
- If the source turns out to be the neighbor's apartment, sealing the entry points inside your unit is covered
- The warranty transfers if you rent the unit out. It follows the property, not the person
What it does not cover
- Treating the neighbor's apartment itself. We seal the entry points on your side, but their apartment isn't ours to enter
- A new infestation shown to have come in after the visit with used furniture or a suitcase. Showing that is on us, not on you
- Fleas and ticks where the animal was not treated by a vet in parallel, because the cycle keeps running off the animal
- Mosquitoes: cover applies to the breeding sources we treated in and around the unit. One mosquito flying in through an open window is not a returning infestation
- A unit treated by another company during the warranty period
We write these exclusions down plainly because they do come up, and you are better off knowing now than finding out later.
